Benefitting The Salvation Army of Harrisburg Capital City Region

In an effort to feed the area’s hungry for the holidays, we’re hosting canned food drive.
We are accepting canned goods and non-perishable items at two GIANT FOOD STORES locations, listed below. Monetary donations will also be collected. The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region will help staff the food drives, collect and distribute the food to area families for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10  — 8 am – 8 pm

GIANT Food Store – Linglestown Road

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11— 8 am – 8 pm
GIANT Food Store – Hampden Township (in Enola, off I-81)

The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region hopes to provide 150 Thanksgiving and 175 Christmas baskets for needy senior citizens in our community. *Donate any item and you can register to win 1 of 2 $100 Giant Food Stores Gift Cards as well as FREE tickets to see THE MIXTAPE TOUR featuring NKOTB and SALT N PEPA! (We’ll have 3 ticket winners)

Instant mashed potatoes
Stuffing Mix (boxed)
Cranberry sauce (canned)
Turkey gravy mix (turkey or chicken)
Vegetables (canned)
Fruit (canned)
Rice
Family Size boxed dessert mix (one step mixes w/o added ingredients are the best!)
Cooking Oil
Spices
Canned Meats
Canned Soups
Peanut Butter
Jelly
