Byler Holdings is a multi-generational family business with large scale operations across many industries. Our materials division, Byler Materials Group, consists of 4 companies that serve the tri-state areas of Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Our daily operations include production, transportation, and delivery of materials for businesses and individuals.



Our Boger Concrete division has been servicing central Pennsylvania with ready mixed concrete for decades. In 2007, the Boger family sold the business to its current owners. Since then, we have shown a genuine commitment to our clients by providing them with outstanding customer service. Today, Boger Concrete has become a trusted provider of ready mixed concrete by focusing on doing all the little things right. We are driven by a responsibility to our customers, employees & community, providing a positive experience from the initial quote to the last pour.


Our newest acquisition is our Byler Quarries division. The quarry is rich with limestone and we are continuously extracting materials to fulfil our customersu2019 needs. We will not only be providing limestone, but other standard PENNDOT construction materials and ready-mixed concrete from our newly established plant as well. Weu2019re also proud to announce that we recently opened our asphalt plant at the quarry too.

MECHANIC

Boger Concrete is seeking a truck mechanic with a minimum 3 years’ experience, 5-10+ preferred working on vocational trucks and construction equipment. Must have working knowledge in diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics, and DOT regulations. Experience with Oshkosh front discharge mixers is a plus. 2-3 positions available.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a mechanic with a Class A CDL, inspection license and clean driving record. Candidate must be organized, proficient with technology and able to communicate clearly. High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to work overtime / flexible schedule.

Must be self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must bring own tools.

READY MIX DRIVER

The Ready Mix Driver is responsible for transporting concrete from one of our batch plant locations to the customer job site. The skilled ready mixed truck operator understands they are on the front line and a vital component to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:

Operating a concrete truck safely to various locations on and off road.
Must be able to clearly communicate and follow instructions.
Perform daily inspections of equipment & report maintenance concerns to service department in accordance with DOT regulations.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must have good interpersonal skills with co-workers and customers.
Ability to work overtime / flexible schedule.

Qualifications:

Preferred three-year driving experience with a clean record.
Class A or B CDL driveru2019s license required.
Good customer service skills.
General knowledge of concrete construction a plus.
Must be able to understand written / verbal instructions and follow through.
Must be self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement.

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

The batch plant Equipment Operator is responsible for maintaining proper supply of materials to the plant, performing daily maintenance / minor repairs to plant and mobile equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operating various equipment around the plant safely.
Must be able to maintain a clean / organized stockyard and bin area.
Perform daily inspection of equipment.
Must have good interperonsal skills with co-workers and customers.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime / flexible schedule.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required.
Three years of construction related experience preferred.
Must be able to clearly communicate and follow instructions.
Self motiviated with a committment to continuous improvement.

TRI-AXLE DUMP DRIVER

The Tri-Axle Dump Driver is responsible for transporting material from the quarry to a job site or production facility. We seek safety focused applicants with a proven track record.

Responsibilities:

Operating a dump truck safely to various locations on and off road.
Must be able to clearly communicate and follow instructions.
Perform daily inspections of equipment & report maintenance concerns to service department in accordance with DOT regulations.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must have good interpersonal skills with co-workers and customers.
Ability to work overtime / flexible schedule.
